We have to provide the best management solution for Hyper-V. If we need to skip for that the VMware integration in VMM, please do so!

@Markus: You are talking about a VMM VM that resides on a Standalone Hyper-V Host and you want to migrate this VM to another Standalone Hyper-V Host, right?

That's possible with SCVMM 2012 R2 without any issues.

That's needed for centralized VMM deployments which is managing multiple sites.

Thank you for your votes and support. We have updates to the Multi select Ui in VMM 2012 R2 UR6. For more information on UR6, please go to https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3050317/.

With VMM 2012 R2 today we can only choose one VM and do a migration. Even if multiple Live Migrations are allowed through the Hyper-V host settings. Please let us select in VMM vNext multiple VMs and do a migration.

Simplify the setup through an additional wizard like the VMM Network Builder Add-in.

Please keep the great flexibility for the network management. If you simplify the setup but suffering the flexibility that would not be great.

b. VMM team can look into DFS-R support for a future release but no changes to the plan of record for R2 or vNext.
So I get you right that you aren't planning any solution to keep VMM library servers in multiple sites in sync for vNext?
