VMM 2016 Bug: Static IP Address cannot be specified on the cluster
I am trying to configure a Hyper-V 2016 cluster using SCVMM2016. All my Windows Server 2016 nodes have Logical networks configured from VMM and IPs are set from the VMM IP pool.
Now when I am creating a cluster, I see a message saying "Static IP Address cannot be specified for the cluster" "VMM has reviewed the logical networks and VM Networks on each of the servers selected for the cluster. It cannot find any networks on which static IP adress or IP address assignment have been configured across all the nodes. If the cluster you are creating needs a static IP address, review your server selections and network configuration to ensure that on atleast one network, every server that you plan to include in the cluster has a static IP address or IP address pool"
This message is strange as I have static IPs (i.e. IPs assigned from a IP pool on all servers)
This is a possible VMM bug. Could MS kindly clarify?
Thanks
